Bhagwan Giri Ji MaharajThe Bhagwan Giri Ashram on the blessed land next to the holy Ganges, was built in 1940 by Bhagwan Giri jee Maharaj with grace of Manor Giri Ji Maharaj (Dada Guru) in Rishikesh and to spread the message of GOD on the land of five rivers Punjab. Saint Bhagwan Giri jee Maharaj was succeeded by his illustrious disciple Harjinder Giri Jee  Maharaj . Harjinder Giri jee was succeeded by his disciple Bhupinder Giri Jee Maharj in 2000 well conversant with Vedic knowledge and an ardent advocate of noble human values. Maharaj jee along with his group of disciples; who has dedicated his life for selfless service.

Bhagwan Giri Ashram  is belief that there is spiritual purpose to life ,to experience the divinity of God who resides in all of us. It is through this experience that we will realize the truth of the concept that there is only one God and we are all expressions of his love.

In the Indian language, Bhagwan Giri means ‘lord of the soul’, divine, venerable, holy worshipful. Giri is describes as duty in Japanese.

Bhupinder Giri Ji Maharaj Bhagwan Giri  Ashram philosophy teaches a personal path of spiritual development which includes a vegetarian diet, self-control from intoxicants, a moral way of life and the practice of daily meditation. There are no mandatory contributions, nor are there compulsory gatherings.

 NO Membership needed. The Bhagwan Giri Ashram does not engage in any fundraising activities.

Bhagwan Giri  Ashram is very actively engaged in social activities like education, health care and has built schools in to provide free education  in  rural , areas and does it best to add value to human life and make universe a better place to live.
